As long as our religion remains as letters on a page or ideas held in the mind, it is dead. Faith is shown not in detailed doctrinal statements nor in extravagant displays of radicalism--it is shown in day to day practice. Our mission is to be a resource for Messianic families to help them in their day to day walk, taking their faith beyond the letter (James 1:26-27).
In everything we do and produce here, we aim to be Scripturally rooted. Tradition, scholarship, and the community of believers all have a voice here--and we would be remiss not to listen to these conduits of the Holy Spirit--but ultimately, everything must be tested against the rock of Scripture. This is our foundation--the revelation of God, His words and His works and His character, through the voices of the prophets and apostles as contained in Scripture (Eph. 2:19-22).
Religious performance is not the aim. Neither is theological correctness. Our Hope, our vision is centered squarely on Messiah and His Kingdom. The redemption of our hearts from the grasp of sin; the resurrection that defeats death and all of her children; the restoration of ourselves to our Father in heaven. This is the Gospel and we will not shrink back from it (1 Cor. 15).
